“Its jobs stupid!” No matter how much the media says the issues of the day are Afganistan, Wall Street regulation, and Immigration people want to know whether they are going to keep their job or can get a job. No matter how much politicians point a finger at the latest scapegoat — BP, Toyota, Roger Clemons, or their favorite scapegoat, the other party– people want and need a job. The candidates that can look their constituants in the eye, and convince them that every day they are going to work to get America back to work and mean it and do it are going to be elected. Unless we can get back to working, manufacturing, building and producing the unrest will grow, and we will fall prey to leaders who will feed on our fears and hidden prejudices. “Its Jobs.”
